About the Park

This area is excellent for a kayak fisherman. There are miles of shoreline a few steps down to the water for easy access fishing or kayaking on Jones Lake. Fish cleaning areas are available throughout the park to prepare your catch. Lighted piers are provided for fishing and there is nothing like eating fresh caught fish for your dinner! There are six areas of protected grassland along with several live oyster reefs, great for bird watching. You can also take advantage of our boat house observation deck to relax and view the beautiful sunsets! It does not get better than that.

This area has easy on - easy off access to Hwy 45.

We are located at Exit 4 Tiki Island.

This is the entrance to Galveston Island. We are ten minutes to the Strand and beach and 25 minutes to Clear Lake City area and 45 minutes to downtown Houston and Hobby airport area. There are many sights to see or you can just sit back and relax at the park and look at the water and the beautiful west side sunsets on Jones Lake every day of the year. This is a simple facility with great access to Houston and Galveston.
